YouTube & Resources
This page serves as a supplementary source of information about the content we create, aimed at those who have encountered our work on YouTube and wish to delve deeper. For a basic introduction and intriguing links, we recommend exploring the landing page first.
Videos stem from Cap‘s involvement with Task Force Reaper, a community that he and others had established. They serve as reflections of our experiences within this community, driven by our desire to document gameplay and share it with a broader audience. It’s important to note that our content isn’t crafted with a specific audience in mind or tailored to meet certain expectations. Rather, it’s a representation of our personal gaming endeavors, and if it resonates with viewers, that’s simply a bonus.
We approach the creative process with a focus on personal enjoyment rather than catering to audience preferences or demands. Comments or suggestions urging us to align our content with audience desires may overlook this fundamental aspect of our channel. If you’re seeking a creator who readily adapts to audience whims and responds to their requests, you may not find that here. We appreciate your understanding in this regard; for us, this is a recreational pursuit, and we hope you can derive entertainment from it by adopting a similar perspective.

General YouTube Workflow
We actively try engage with comments on our most recent videos, aiming to respond whenever possible, particularly shortly after their release. However, as time progresses, monitoring of comments on older videos become less frequent, and we may not always respond to comments on those videos.
If you have questions or queries on older videos, we encourage you to review the existing comments, as we often address common inquiries within them. While we enjoy interacting with viewers, our inability to respond to every comment should not be interpreted as indifference; rather, it may be due to time constraints or the existence of prior responses to similar queries. Your understanding is appreciated.
Video Organization
In an effort to provide viewers with clear expectations from our titles and thumbnails, we’ve decided to use a refined system for categorizing our content. This not only streamlines our workflow but also ensures viewers can easily identify the type of content they’re interested in.
Here’s a breakdown of the categories:
- Typical. These are standard gameplay videos, ranging from a few minutes to an hour or more. The thumbnails for these videos maintain a familiar format without any additional markings.
- Operation. Reserved for our campaigns or special missions that warrant particular attention, especially those involving long-term campaigns in specific eras. These videos feature an orange stripe with the word “OPERATION” on the left side.
- Cinematic Perspective. Videos where we observe the scenario play out through a cinematic camera, often following the point of view character’s demise in the mission. These videos are distinguished by a blue stripe on the left side of the thumbnail labeled “CINEMATIC.”
- Highlight. Extracted from larger videos, these stand-alone clips offer interesting moments from gameplay. We aim to post highlight videos immediately after the corresponding main video, allowing viewers to choose between the full experience or a condensed version. Highlight videos are identified by a yellow stripe with the word “HIGHLIGHT” on the left side.
- Snippet. Quick clips with minimal context that we believe are worth sharing. These snippets may offer complementary perspectives to other videos or showcase intriguing moments from missions. They feature a pink stripe labeled “SNIPPET.”
- Commentary. Videos where we reflect on mission events in a retrospective manner. These videos include my commentary and analysis, providing additional insights into the gameplay. They are marked by a red stripe with the word “COMMENTARY” on the left.
- Training. Denoting training exercises conducted by us or instructional content aimed at improving gameplay or understanding. These videos feature a green stripe labeled “TRAINING.”
- Joint Operations. Indicates videos featuring collaborations with other communities, particularly Task Force Wraith. These videos are distinguished by a purple stripe with the words “JOINT OPERATIONS.”
In addition to the enhanced categorization and thumbnail design, we’ve implemented a naming scheme for videos on Cap’s personal channel and the Task Force Reaper channel. Each video title will now consist of three parts: the name of the video, the game being played, and a brief summary of the content. This format provides viewers with a clearer understanding of the video’s content at a glance, making it easier to navigate through a large list of videos.
These changes aim to improve the visualization of content and enable us to create highlight and snippet footage with greater confidence, knowing that viewers’ expectations are aligned from the outset.
